About Leah Oxendine

Leah Oxendine (Miller) has been writing, drawing and creating ever since she was little.   She is married to an amazing man and is the proud mom of three little boys. She currently resides in North Florida in the middle of nowhere, enjoying the rural homesteading life with her family.

She is the author of four books.

She has enjoyed presenting living history demonstrations at American Civil War reenactments, library events and other speaking engagements revolving around Florida history.

And as Florida’s one-and-only female infantry snare drummer, she is also very passionate about music and can play 9 different instruments, including piano, which is her favorite.

Besides her main role as Christian, mama and wife, she is a music teacher and currently teaches guitar and piano to local students. She has ten years of experience as a personal trainer and is especially fond of strength training and functional movement workouts. She loves traveling, linguistics, Scottish Highland Games and all things homestead/garden/holistic lifestyle related. She also owns and runs her own small microbakery business, Pine Cottage Sourdough Co.
